Contraceptive Management
Birth Control Options
We offer a range of hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptives to fit your needs.
Long-Acting Options (LARCs)
-
IUDs – Hormonal IUDs (Mirena, Kyleena) release progestin to thin the uterine lining and prevent ovulation, lasting 3-7 years. Non-hormonal IUDs (Paragard) use copper to create a sperm-repelling environment, lasting up to 10 years.
-
Nexplanon – Arm implant lasting up to three years.
Short-Term Methods
-
Birth Control Pills – Taken daily to regulate ovulation and prevent pregnancy.
-
Patches – Worn on the skin and replaced weekly for continuous hormone release.
-
Rings – Inserted vaginally and replaced monthly.
-
Depo-Provera Injection – A shot administered every 10–12 weeks for extended pregnancy prevention.
Non-Hormonal & Barrier Methods
-
Phexxi – A non-hormonal vaginal gel used before intercourse to alter pH and prevent sperm movement.
-
Diaphragms – A reusable, in-office fitted barrier placed in the vagina before sex.
-
Condoms – Provide pregnancy prevention and STI protection, compatible with other methods.
